Lana -- You don't have to use apricots! :) I never do. The list of fruits I gave were suggestions. I don't use any dried fruits at all, except goji berries sometimes. I'd recommend organic pomegranate juice, if possible! I usually just use water. Orange juice is also good. Really ANY juice will do!

BETSY MAE -- Caroline says one tbsp of sprouted flax/chai! :) AWESOME that I could help so many others. THANK YOU for that. That's why I do this. xoxo

I really don't like apricots at all. Would it be less of a smoothie if I don't just add apricots into the mix? Also, what fruit juice in particular would you recommend by the way? :)

I already drink green smoothies everyday, love them and swear by them but I've never used sprouted chia/flax (bought some today) nor have i tried sprirulina (bought some today)...how much sprouted chia/flax do i use in the smoothie? i'm really excited to try these two new ingredients. the woman at the health food store said that she makes green smoothies for her and her husband every morning and she is going to start putting spirulina in, she had forgotten to use it! you helped three people all at once with this post haley!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she said it will give me lots of energy, i'm eager for that.
